Spring Into Action

There's nothing like a little peer pressure to kick your butt into gear. So when Linda from My Crafty Home Life asked me to participate in Spring Into Action, I was all for it. Her idea was to convince a group of bloggers to finally take on a project that we've been procrastinating, have us blog about it, and commit to finishing it by the end of April.

You may be able to relate to having a project that's been nagging you.
 So what's mine?
To make some sort of window covering for our guest bath. See that swatch of fabric? That's the sample that has been taunting me for over a month now...
"Make a window treatment out of me", it says every single time I look at it. "Just DO IT already! What are you waiting for???"

To keep up with what the other ladies of the Undaunted Dozen will tackle this month, click on the links below and look for the "Spring Into Action" button on their blog sidebar. Good luck, ladies!

Sometimes you really do need a push to get you going. I'm doing a color challenge this month. It's my first and I'm a little nervous, but it least it's getting me to move forward. I see some names on this challenge that are also doing the one I'm doing. Impressive. Good luck on yours. You can do it!

UM, all I can focus on is how COOL your bathroom looks (even from just that tiny angle), wow! Is the color a light aqua? And the molding, gah!

I'm sure whatever you come up with will be fantastic like all of your projects. Funny, I don't see you as a procrastinator- you really must be stumped. Nothing like putting pressure on yourself!

I am looking forward to your window treatment. I need inspiration in that area, too! That bathroom is so stunning. You know how to rock a DIY!

I think your project should have been annoying your husband to finish your living room end tables. ;)

Carrie, your bathroom already looks great. The mouldings are so pretty...it will look even better with your new window treatment. I used the same fabric to cover a corkboard. Love it! Good thing for this little challenge to get us motivated!

Gorgeous! A Roman shade would be stunning there, but so would just about anything out of that fabric. Can't wait to see!
